- Permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week, minimum 30 hours per week guaranteed)
- Pay range $25 - $35/hr - dependent on qualifications and experience

Our client is South Canterbury’s glass and glazing specialist, providing installation, replacement, and repair services including shower glass, balustrades, and double glazing. Locally owned and operated, they have more than 40 years’ of experience to draw on and are known for providing timely, reliable, and quality service.
They are as busy as ever and need a Qualified Glazier to join their team and help deliver their trusted glass and glazing services across domestic, commercial, and industrial sites, plus in schools and many other environments.
Your key duties will include:
- Working as part of a small team to provide high-quality glass installation, replacement, and repair services
- Discussing customer requirements, and making recommendations
- Selecting appropriate glazing for each project
- Measuring and cutting glass in the workshop, and on-site
- Preparing work areas for installation including removal of old fittings
- Safely installing new glazing, or repairing damaged glazing
- Collaborating with team members to transport, lift, and fit larger items
- Working safely on indoor and outdoor work sites
- Safely operating company vehicles
- Working at heights once certified
Our ideal candidate will bring the following skills and experience:
- Trade Qualified Glazier with at least 2-3 years experience (or unqualified with significant on-the-job experience)
- Full, clean driver’s licence (able to drive manual vehicles)
- Experienced in the installation of showers, balustrades, double glazing
- Able to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening
- Great customer communication and team working skills
- Tidy presentation
- Physically fit and able – this role can involve heavy lifting, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, and working on scaffolding
If you have other tickets such as working at heights, this is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be given.
